Who is Premchand Aggarwal?
Premchandra Agarwal was born in a family with a Sanghi background in Doiwala in Dehradun district. Started politics with Vidyarthi Parishad. In 1980, he became the President of ABVP at Doiwala. In 1995, he became the head of BJP in Dehradun district. He was also active in the Uttarakhand movement.
He remained associated with the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha for a long time. The organization has also held many positions. In 2007, Premchand Aggarwal contested and won from Rishikesh Assembly for the first time. After that he has been continuously winning elections from Rishikesh Assembly. In 2017, Premchand Agarwal was formed the Speaker during the Trivendra government. Whereas in 2022 he was given the responsibility of Minister of Parliamentary Finance and Urban Development.
