Padma Awards announced
Every year on the eve of Republic Day, the Padma Awards, the highest civilian honor of the country, are announced. Like every year, this time also one of the highest civilian honors from the country will be honored with Padma Awards. Today, after the announcement of the names of the winners, the Padma Award winners are given by the President of India Draupadi Murmu at the honor ceremonies to be held at Rashtrapati Bhavan in March or April. The Padma Awards are given in three categories, including Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri.

There are three categories of awards
Padma Awards are given to special people doing special work in various fields such as art, social service, public work, science and engineering, business and industry, medicine, literature and education, sports, civil service etc. The Padma Awards are divided into three categories-Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri. Padma Vibhushan is given for extraordinary and specific service. Padma Bhushan for high quality special service and Padma Shri for Special Service are given.
Guidelines are for the winners
According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Padma Awards are not considered a title, so the winners cannot use it in front or back.
With these awards, the winners are not provided any cash prize, allowance or exemption in Rail-Hawai Yatra.
Celebrities honored with the Padma Award are given the President’s signature and sealed certificate and medal.
The award winners are also given a replica of their medal, which they can wear at any ceremony.
