After GST, the main basis of the state budget is the assistance from the central government. In the budget of 2024-25, it was estimated to get share and central assistance grant in central taxes around one lakh 40 thousand crore rupees.

7.82 percent amount is received

Now the state is receiving more money from this. In fact, the central government gives 41 percent of the total revenue to the states as part in the central taxes. In this, Madhya Pradesh gets 7.82 percent amount.

It was estimated at Rs 95 thousand 753 crore for the current financial year. The state will now get Rs 5,247 crore more in proportion to the amount received from central taxes. The government will use it to speed up development projects.

This amount will be increased by Rs 15,908 in the next financial year. Assistance grant for implementation of central schemes will be more than 45 thousand crore rupees. It will be about 600 crores more. It will definitely affect the implementation of the schemes.

Special capital assistance will get 12 thousand crore rupees

In the budget, the government has decided to keep the special capital assistance scheme continuously to speed up infrastructure development. Capital expenditure in the state is being increased continuously. In the year 2024-25, a target was set to get Rs 15 thousand crore.

6,187 crore has been received and proposals of seven thousand crore rupees have been sent. The government hopes that the state will get more than 12 thousand crore rupees in this scheme in this scheme. It is noteworthy that the state government has a target of capital investment of Rs 64,738 crore in the current financial year.

Government can take up to three percent loan of GSDP

In the pre -budget meeting, the state government had demanded permission to take up to four percent loans in proportion to the GDP in proportion to the GDP, but it was not accepted before the Union Finance Minister.

The state can take loans from the market through the Reserve Bank of India only in proportion to GSDP. Half a percentage loan can be taken to take the prescribed steps to improve the field of energy. It is noteworthy that when the 16th Finance Commission comes in the first week of March, the issue will once again be raised by citing better financial management.

Now the state government will start to finalize the budget

Sources say that the situation has become clear from the general budget regarding the amount received by the state in the upcoming financial year.

Based on this, the state government will now be engaged in finalizing its budget. This time it can be up to four lakh crore rupees. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will hold a meeting with ministers and officials regarding the first budget of February 15.
