A shocking case has come to light in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. During patrolling, Jhansi Police discovered a person who, according to the records of Bihar Police, had been murdered 17 years ago. Not only this, four people have also gone to jail on charges of his murder. One of them has died and three people are still out of jail on bail. When the youth serving the sentence got to know that the person was alive, tears welled up in their eyes. At present, Jhansi Police has called the Bihar Police and handed over the traced person to them.
Jhansi’s Baruasagar police station was patrolling its area as usual on the evening of January 6. He saw a suspicious person in village Dhavara Bharaunal. On suspicion, the people of the village were interrogated and it was found that the said person had been living in Jhansi for about six months. The police took him with them to the police station. During interrogation there, he identified himself as Nathuni Pal, son of late Ramchandra, resident of Deoria police station, Akodi Gola, district Rohtas, Bihar. His age is around 50 years.
Nathuni Pal’s parents died, wife left him
During interrogation, he told that his parents had died when he was in his village. After a few years of marriage, his wife also left him due to not having children. After this he started living with his cousins. He had about two and a half bighas of land. He left the village in the year 2008 and did not return after that. He came here about 6 months ago after wandering. He has been living here since then. He does not know what happened after he left the village.
Nathuni Pal told that, he is a resident of Deoria, Bihar. He is now going to his home in Bihar with the police. There is no one in his house. His parents had died and his wife had left him.
Family members go to jail for murder of Nathuni Pal
When Nathuni Pal’s cousin Satendra Pal, who was jailed on charges of murder after kidnapping, narrated his pain, he shed tears. Satendra told that when Nathuni Pal was killed, his maternal uncle had filed a case of kidnapping and murder against him, his father and brothers. All four of them had gone to jail, after serving 8 months each, they are out on bail. His father has died.
Satendra said that he used to think day and night that today he is being punished for a crime he did not commit. When he came to know that Nathuni Pal was alive and in Jhansi, he also came here with Bihar Police. Now after Nathuni Pal is found alive, the stigma will be removed from his head.
Three brothers and their father made accused
Satendra Pal told that, Nathuni’s maternal uncle had filed an FIR. We went to jail. When we came to know today, we came here. We stayed in jail for 8 months each, including my father, my elder brother, middle brother and I. My younger brother, who was in the police, also had his name, but after pleading with the DIG, his name was removed. Right now we are on bail. Nathuni Pal is his uncle’s son. A case was registered that Nathuni was murdered after taking money.
Superintendent of Police – City Gyanendra Kumar said that Nathuni Pal was found yesterday in village Dhawakar of Barua Sagar police station. He was living with some family there. When police station incharge Baruasagar Shivjit Singh and Dhamna outpost in-charge investigated this matter, it was found that a case of kidnapping and murder was registered in Akodi Gola police station of Bihar. An FIR was registered against his four family members. After the case was registered, all four had gone to jail. He is out of jail on bail. Right now this matter is going on in the court. After finding this, Bihar Police and the accused also came to Barua Sagar police station.
