The stampede at the New Delhi railway station started on the upcoming stairs for the number 14 and 15 platforms. 18 people have died in the stampede. A high -level inquiry into this accident has been ordered by the Railways. CPRO Himanshu Shekhar Upadhyay, CPRO of Northern Railway, said that the stampede was started by slipping a man’s leg on the stairs coming for the number 14 and 15 platforms. A shopkeeper from the railway station also told that the most crowd was on the footover bridge and there was an accident there, in which many people lost their lives.

There were a large number of people on the foot over bridge, when a person’s leg slipped from the upcoming stairs for the number 14 and 15 platforms, due to which many passengers behind them got caught and this tragic incident happened. This accident is being investigated by a high level committee. Due to which a situation like stampede has arisen in the entire crowd … The inquiry committee is investigating the case.

Railway Minister will hold high level meeting!
Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav can hold a high -level meeting with senior officials in this accident. It is being told that this meeting has been called after the accident at New Delhi railway station. In this meeting, the Railway Minister will be given detailed information about the entire incident. In this meeting, the entire incident will be informed, information about the order of the incident and the time-line will be given. During the meeting, senior officials of the Ministry of Railways will provide detailed details to Vaishnav on all the events and developments. In the meeting, the officials will also clarify how the circumstances were, what steps were taken and what measures can be taken to avoid such incidents in future. In addition, the results of intensive investigation of the case can also be discussed by the high officials of the ministry.

Let me tell you, after the stampede incident, compensation has also been announced for the affected. Indian Railways has announced compensation for the families and injured of the deceased. Railways will give compensation of Rs 10 lakh to the families of the deceased, Rs 2.5 lakh to seriously injured passengers and Rs 1 lakh to a minor injured passengers.
