- PM Modi To Lay Foundation, Inaugurate Slew Of Projects In Andhra Pradesh

Modi is visiting Andhra Pradesh for the first time after becoming PM for the third consecutive time in 2024.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Andhra Pradesh today. In Visakhapatnam, PM Modi will virtually lay the foundation stone and inaugurate projects worth Rs 1.85 lakh crore. He will also lay the foundation stone of the Green Hydrogen Hub project being built in Pudimadka.
Under the development projects, 25 industrial manufacturing units will be constructed in 300 acres. Apart from this, the foundation stone of projects like roads, industrial centre, port and chemical storage will also be laid.
The Green Hydrogen Hub project will be built on about 1200 acres of land near Gangavaram Port. Its cost is Rs 1.85 lakh crore. Whose 20 gigawatt renewable energy is to be developed. 1500 tonnes of green hydrogen will be produced here every day. Green chemicals including green ammonia, green methanol and urea will also be produced.
The Green Hydrogen Hub will be built by NTPC. This is expected to provide 57 thousand jobs before 2032.
PM Modi will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of these projects
- The Prime Minister will virtually inaugurate the Krishnapatnam Industrial Hub built on 2500 acres of land at a cost of Rs 1518 crore. This will provide employment opportunities to 50 thousand people.
- Will virtually lay the foundation stone of Rs 1877 crore Bulk Drug Park at Nakkapalli. It will be built on 2002 acres of land at a cost of Rs 11542 crore. Due to which 54 thousand people are expected to get jobs.
- A greenfield industrial smart city will be built under the Chennai-Bengaluru Industrial Corridor Project in Tirupati district. This is expected to bring investment of Rs 10500 crore in the state and provide jobs to one lakh people.
- The Prime Minister will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of railway and road projects, the total cost of which is Rs 19500 crore. Will lay the foundation stone of Railway Doubling Works between Guntur, Bibinagar, Gooty and Pendekallu.
PM Modi’s complete program PM Modi will reach Visakhapatnam at 4:15 pm and hold a road show. He will also be accompanied by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. After this he will address a public meeting at Andhra University. Then he will leave for Odisha.
This will be Modi’s first visit to the state after assuming the post of PM for the third consecutive time in 2024.
BJP, TDP and Janasena coalition government in Andhra Pradesh TDP and Janasena, part of the NDA alliance, have formed the government together in Andhra Pradesh. In 2024, out of total 175 seats in the state, TDP won 135, Janasena Party won 21 and BJP won 8. The majority figure is 88.
