The reputation of many big leaders including CM, Speaker is at stake in the second phase of Jharkhand Assembly elections.

The second phase of Jharkhand assembly elections will play a decisive role in opening the door to power in many ways. In this phase, voting is to be held on a total of 38 seats on November 20. In this phase, the fate of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi, former Deputy CM Sudesh Mahato, Speaker Rabindranath Mahato and four cabinet ministers Irfan Ansari, Hafizul Hasan, Deepika Pandey Singh and Baby Devi will be decided. Apart from this, everyone’s eyes will also be on Kalpana Soren, Sita Soren, Lewis Marandi and Lobin Hembrum. In the second phase, 11 former ministers are also in the electoral arena.

The fate of Stephen Marandi, Hemlal Murmu, Basant Soren, Lewis Marandi, Badal Patralekh, Randhir Singh, Suresh Paswan, Pradeep Yadav, JP Patel, Mathura Mahato and Jaleshwar Mahato will also be decided. Let us tell you that a total of 528 candidates are in the fray for 38 seats. There are 472 male and 55 female candidates. A gender candidate is also in the electoral arena.

There are 73 candidates from the national party, of which 60 are men and 13 are women. 28 candidates from recognized state level parties of Jharkhand are also in the election contest. This includes 23 male and five female candidates. The number of independent candidates is 257. Independent candidates can also spoil the game in this second phase of elections. In this phase, Jairam Mahato’s party JLKM will also be tested. Jairam Mahato himself is trying his luck with Dumri and Bermo.

JLKM candidate Devendranath Mahato, who got more than 1.5 lakh votes in the Lok Sabha, is facing AJSU supremo Sudesh Mahato from Silli. There are chances of a triangular fight on five seats in the second phase. In Dhanwar, JMM’s Nizamuddin Ansari and CPI-ML’s Rajkumar Yadav are also in the fray against BJP candidate Babulal Marandi.

Minister Baby in Dumri is Yashoda Devi of Ajsu. But Jairam Mahato is also in the electoral fray from this seat. There are possibilities of a triangular fight on this seat. JLKM’s Amresh Mahato can also spoil the electoral mathematics in Gumia. Actually, JMM’s Yogendra Prasad and AJSU’s Lambodar Mahato are face to face on this seat.

The contest in Bermo will be interesting. Congress’s Jaimangal Singh, BJP’s Ravindra Pandey and JLKM’s Jairam Mahato are in the electoral battle from this seat. There are possibilities of a triangular conflict here too. There are possibilities of a triangular conflict in Silli also. Here JMM’s Amit Mahato, AJSU’s Sudesh Mahato and JLKM’s Devendranath Mahato are in the electoral arena.
