The Russia-Ukraine war is once again taking a dangerous turn. Kiev has claimed that Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBMs) have been fired by Russia. However, there was no nuclear charge in it, Russia has fired only an empty missile. But this is being seen as a strong message from Russia to Ukraine and the western countries including America which is supporting it.
Recently America had decided to send anti-personnel landmines to Ukraine. After which Russia has also made changes in the rules of its nuclear war. According to this rule, Russia can use nuclear weapons even against a non-nuclear power, if they have the support of the nuclear power. This was the second major step taken by the Biden administration in the last few days to help Kiev in the war against Russia. Earlier, Washington had given Ukraine permission to use long-range American missiles inside Russia.
Intercontinental ballistic missile has been used for the first time in this war by Russia, which is considered very dangerous.
Russia’s denial
Russia has rejected Ukraine’s allegations on the intercontinental ballistic missile attack case. When asked whether Moscow had fired a missile? On this, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said that he had nothing to say on this subject.
Intercontinental ballistic missile can cover a distance of about 5 thousand km and hits its target. It was reported that several types of missiles were involved in the attack. An intercontinental ballistic missile, launched from the Astrakhan region of Russia, was fired from a MiG-31K fighter jet in the Tambov region.
‘There was no nuclear weapon in the missile’
The intercontinental ballistic missile that Russia launched at Ukraine on Thursday had a nuclear warhead, an Air Force source told AFP. There was no weapon. A Ukrainian air force source told AFP it was clear that the weapon, which was used against Ukraine for the first time, had no nuclear warhead.
Here, the Russian Army has claimed that they have shot down two Storm Shadow missiles made in Britain. But the army did not give information about which area and at what time the missiles were fired.
Russia captured Ukrainian village
Russia has issued a statement saying that another eastern Ukrainian village near Kurakhov has been captured. Moscow’s Defense Ministry said Russian forces captured the small village of Dalne, five kilometers (three miles) south of Kurakhov.
The Ukrainian Air Force said that units of the anti-aircraft missile forces have destroyed 6 Kh-101 missiles. However, no information has been received about any civilian being injured yet.
