According to party sources, there was a discussion a few days ago that the BJP President in Madhya Pradesh can also be made from the OBC category, then the name of Rajya Sabha member Kavita Patidar came into discussion. According to the leaders, with the selection of Patidar, the quota of women state president would also be fulfilled and the OBC category would also benefit.
BJP District Adhyaksh in MP: Leaders from Congress also spoiled the equation of selection of BJP district presidents, now the decision will be taken from Delhi.
- Here, when it comes to selection from the Kshatriya class, the names of former ministers Arvind Bhadauria and Brijendra Pratap Singh have been sent to the central leadership. Bhadauria is basically considered a leader with organizational abilities.
- Earlier the party had also entrusted him with the responsibility of state membership in-charge. When it comes to selection from the Brahmin category, Dr. Narottam Mishra is being considered a strong contender.
- Mishra also has the support of many big leaders. In this context, BJP is also considering tribal leadership.
- The names of Gajendra Singh Patel and Faggan Singh Kulaste, who were presidents of Adivasi Morcha from this category, are in discussion.
