The Chief Ministers of Punjab and Delhi have written a letter to the Election Commission of India regarding the continuous attacks on Aam Aadmi Party’s National Convener Arvind Kejriwal in his public meetings, padyatras and rallies, again demanding his security. Delhi CM Atishi has accused Delhi that there is a conspiracy to kill Arvind Kejriwal.

Delhi Chief Minister Atishi said that the attackers are being protected by BJP and Union Territory Delhi Police. A big conspiracy is being hatched. There is a conspiracy to kill Arvind Kejriwal and there are two players in this conspiracy, on one side there are Bharatiya Janata Party workers who go to different parts of Delhi and attack Arvind Kejriwal, throw stones, come with sticks, Spraying of spirit and on the other side is the Delhi Police under Amit Shah.
Kejriwal made allegations
He said that due to the combination of Bharatiya Janata Party and Delhi Police, a conspiracy is being hatched to take the life of Arvind Kejriwal. We are continuously seeing that Arvind Kejriwal is being attacked one after the other. On October 24, Arvind Kejriwal was attacked in Vikaspuri right under the nose of Delhi Police. When we went to check on social media, the attacker turned out to be a Bharatiya Janata Party worker. Delhi Police did nothing. Arvind Kejriwal was attacked again on November 30, when he was going for his public event in Malviya Nagar and there was an attempt to manhandle him and assault him.
He said, “After this, on January 18, stones were thrown at Arvind Kejriwal’s car in New Delhi Assembly constituency. In such a situation, the jugalbandi between BJP and Delhi Police is coming to light. Yesterday the attackers reached Arvind Kejriwal’s car in Hari Nagar, Delhi. The police did not stop him. There has been no such Z plus security protectee and the police came under the control of Bharatiya Janata Party and Amit Shah. Bharatiya Janata Party and Amit Shah have only one objective to stop Arvind Kejriwal by any means.”
What did CM Atishi say
Atishi said that hence the Punjab Police deployed in the security of Arvind Kejriwal was playing a very important role in providing him security and physically protecting him. Which was removed. Therefore, I and Bhagwant Mann have written a letter to the Election Commission of India that the security of Arvind Kejriwal should be restored again.
Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, who was present on this occasion, said that Arvind Kejriwal is being attacked and Delhi Police is not even registering an FIR. Arvind Kejriwal is being physically attacked so that he sits in fear and does not go out for campaigning. He said that Punjab Police had a lot of evidence that Arvind Kejriwal could be attacked in Delhi, it could also happen in Punjab. So Punjab Police had given security to Arvind Kejriwal. Since then the attacks were increasing. Therefore he ordered to remove the security of Punjab Police.
Bhagwant Mann said that when a wrestler starts losing, he adopts wrong tactics, including cutting his ears or pinching them. He said that we have written a letter to the Election Commission that the security of Arvind Kejriwal should be restored. Arvind Kejriwal is a national convener, head of the National Party. So it is our duty to provide them security. But if we are not satisfied with the security you are providing, then we should get its alternative.
