There is no dearth of employment opportunities in India. There is a need to provide such education that students can be prepared for these opportunities. This has come to light in a recent report of the World Bank, which was released by Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. He reminded that in the new education policy, there is talk of teaching some skill to the students only after class 6th.
In India, there is a need for such education which makes students employable. This has been said in the World Bank report ‘Jobs at Your Door Step’ released on Friday. This report, prepared after a survey of six states, was released by Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
World Bank has released an important report Jobs at Your Door Step on Skill Based Education System. What does this mean for India? How important is this for the Government of India and how can skill-based training be promoted for children in the school system in the country?
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan told NDTV that the Honorable Prime Minister thinks far ahead. He developed a continuous reformist governance model for the last 10 years to bring a momentum within the country. We have some project work going on with the World Bank. The World Bank has taken a sample of some selected districts in six states and given indication about a pan Indian requirement, which is our requirement and also a recommendation of NEP. And in our roadmap which is going to be made in the coming 25 years, in the Amrit Kaal, the Prime Minister has an ambition to make India the skill hub of the world. India will become the growth engine of the world. India is going to become a led economic model. At that time, this type of report will definitely help in bringing about a new thought process, re-appropriating old ideas and taking a new approach.
In this report of the World Bank it has been said that there is no shortage of employment in India. There are a lot of employment opportunities, there is a need for such schools which can become match makers, i.e. make students suitable for industries. This report has been prepared after studying six states, Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha and Rajasthan. It took nine months.
To empower girls from economically weaker families, they can get employment by giving them skill training in school. Regarding this, World Bank’s Chief Education Expert Shabnam Sinha told NDTV that, once they get employment, which will be near their home, then later they will be capable enough to go out and do big work also. Can do. The important step is to start somewhere.
On this occasion, World Bank Country Director Augusto Cuami told NDTV that there is no lack of potential in India, what is needed is its proper utilization and if India has to become a developed country by 2047, then it will have to grow at a growth rate of eight percent every year for the next 23 years. Will have to move forward. India has a large labor force which is its most important asset.
India’s large population and educational opportunities in India are two things which are the major strengths of India. The growth rate required to place India in the ranks of developed countries by 2047 will be possible only by fully utilizing its capabilities.
