The interesting thing is that Bhajji has selected three teams from the same group in his predictions. Pakistan, India and New Zealand are all in Group A, while Australia is in Group B. Let us tell you that this is a tournament of eight teams, in which 15 matches will be played. Champions Trophy matches will be played at three venues in Pakistan and Dubai from 19 February to 9 March – Champions Trophy matches will be played in Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi.
The teams have been placed in two groups. Group A includes Pakistan, India, New Zealand, Bangladesh, while Group B includes teams from Afghanistan, South Africa, England and Australia. Hosts Pakistan will take on New Zealand in Karachi on February 19, while the blockbuster match between arch-rivals Pakistan and India will be played in Dubai on February 23. Pakistan will host a total of 10 matches in its country, while India’s four matches, including all three group-stage matches and the first semi-final, will be played in Dubai.
Let us tell you that on January 18, India had announced its 15-member team for the upcoming tournament, in which Shreyas Iyer, Mohammed Shami and Kuldeep Yadav have been included in the team.
