This is the last date for registration for PM internship scheme, know every detail related to it

The scheme was announced by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman during her budget speech on 23 July last year. Harsh Malhotra, Minister of State for Corporate Affairs, recently told in the Lok Sabha that under this scheme, 28,141 candidates have got internship opportunities so far. The internship program will be 12 months.

Those applying for this scheme should be between 21 and 24 years old. Also, it is also a matter of mind that the candidate should not have a full-time employee in any organization or company.

For this, it is mandatory to pass at least tenth. Apart from this, certificates from an industrial training institute (ITI), diploma or bachelor’s degree from a polytechnic institute like B.Sc, B.Sc, B.Com, BCA, BBA, B.Pharma can also apply for this.

The PM internship scheme has many benefits. Under this, the youth of the country will be given an opportunity for internship in top-500 companies so that they can understand how to face challenges in practical life along with getting work experience. The central government aims to give 1 crore youth an internship opportunity within 5 years under this scheme.

After internship, the youth will also get a certificate. Many better avenues of work will open in front of them. Many options will be ready for the job. Not only this, under this scheme, candidates will also get the benefit of PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, PM Suraksha Bima Yojana.

There are many more benefits of internships, such as a lump sum of 6000 rupees after the first joining. Apart from this, a check of Rs 5000 will also be available every month. Out of this, payment of Rs 4500 will be released by the government and the remaining 500 rupees from their CSR funds. However, the company can also pay more than Rs 500 to intern. This will depend on their work, company policy, attitude, behavior.

Before applying, it should also be kept in mind that the annual earnings of the applicant’s family should not be more than 8 lakhs and none of the parents or spouses are in any government job. You are not doing regular studies or jobs from anywhere. The documents required to apply should have Secondary School Certificate, Higher Secondary Certificate, ITI Diploma or Polytechnic Diploma degree or graduation degree.
