Short video social media platform TikTok stopped its service in America from the night of Saturday, January 18. TikTok has been removed from the Google Play Store and videos are not playing on TikTok’s American website.
The app has been closed on Saturday. TikTok is not visible on Apple’s ‘App Store’ and Android’s Play Store. This app can no longer be downloaded in America. In fact, the law banning TikTok in America has become effective from today. Due to which this app has been removed from the Play Store. This law was signed by President Joe Biden last year.
TikTok had 17 crore users in America
The latest information released by TikTok for American users shows that America has issued a law to ban TikTok. This means that you cannot use TikTok at the moment. US President-elect Donald Trump has said that after being sworn in, he will study the solution to restore TikTok.
It is said that after TikTok sent the information to the American users, ByteDance’s foreign apps Capcut, Lemon8, Goth and Hypic also sent the information to the American users about stopping the service.
