Til chutney recipe
To make this you need
1 cup freshly grated coconut or desiccated coconut
3 tbsp white sesame seeds
2 tbsp peanuts
1 tablespoon tamarind
3 dried Kashmiri red chillies or
2 to 3 garlic cloves, small to medium sized
salt as required
1 cup water for grinding
Prepare sesame chutney like this
step 1 : Heat a pan on low flame. Add peanuts in it and fry them while stirring continuously. Take out and keep aside.
Step 2 : Add sesame seeds in the same pan and fry them while stirring continuously until they turn light golden and start crackling. Take out and keep aside.
Step 3 : When the peanuts and sesame seeds cool down, add the roasted peanuts, roasted sesame seeds and grated fresh or desiccated coconut to a blending jar.
Step 4 : Now add tamarind, garlic cloves and red chilli.
Step 5 :Add salt as required.
Step 6 :Finally, add 1 cup water or water to bring consistency as per your choice.
Step 7 : Blend all the ingredients well, and make a smooth paste.
Your sesame chutney is ready, now you can enjoy it. Sesame chutney is best eaten with idli, dosa, rice kanji or other south Indian snacks like uttapam, medu vada, mysore bonda etc. And you can try it with all your favorite dishes.
