Gurugram’s large population affected
Due to this toll, the population of more than 40 societies in Gurugram, Manesar and nearby is being affected. People are struggling by creating toll removal struggle committee.
Thousands of passengers face jams in peak hours every day at this toll plaza. It is a daily thing to get stuck in a jam for 30 minutes, sometimes it takes more than an hour.

This toll plaza has earned many times more than the cost. Now the people of Gurugram should get relief from this. It is the failure of the government that the matter of shifting the toll plaza is now entangled in politics and we are feeling cheated.

There are quarrels over toll fees
He said that after the opening of the Dwarka Expressway, most of the people traveling from the new Sector 81-95 can now avoid the toll plaza, but the pockets of residential and business areas located in Manesar as well as Sector 77, 78 and 79 will continue to affect the pockets. People nearby also have to quarrel over the fee.

PAC President KC Venugopal: The Public Accounts Committee, one of the most important subjects, is taking care of fees and toll collections on national highways, which belongs to the common man of this country. We have visited the site to check the functioning of this toll plaza.
We are getting many complaints from the public. We are checking everything from toll charges, tariffs, infrastructure, accidents and quality. Then we will submit our report and mention what is lacking.

BJP MP Jagdambika Pal: The phase of the Bharat Mala Project was to be completed in 3 years, but now it has been 5 years. We visited a study to know when this project would be completed. There is a crowd of about 4 lakh traffic every day. After the construction of the project, a two -layer road will be built here.
A 19 km elevated flyover has been formed and an underpass of more than 3.5 kilometers is being built, followed by traffic. We also questioned that the Kherki Daula toll plaza was built in 2008 and ended in 2020-21. It should have been transferred, so why not done till now. These were all issues, which the PAC visited. We will prepare the report after facts and conclusions.

Officers throw away by telling a policy matter
However, a senior NHAI official says that this is a policy matter and any decision to transfer the toll plaza will be taken at the headquarters level. At present, we have not been given any instructions.
