After 9 days of fast, Mintu, a resident of Matariya village of Bagaha, admitted the mother to a private hospital in Harnatad. One day after treatment, the doctors referred Gorakhpur. The hospital himself called an ambulance and sent it to Shri Vedana Multi Specialty Hospital in Basharatpur, Gorakhpur.
Mintu alleges that the mother died, yet she was placed on the ventilator. While treatment was going on in the hospital, Mintu suspected that something was wrong. He sent a doctor of his identity and sent him to his mother. He told that your mother has died.
Mintu said that during treatment, medicine worth Rs 1.5 lakh was called. Due to death, the mother’s body was swollen and smelled. Even after this, the doctors were demanding money for treatment. When the police was called, the hospital declared the mother dead.

Sunita of Ghotwa village adjacent to Valmiki Tiger Reserve in Bihar was seriously injured in a road accident. She went to Gorakhpur for better treatment, but got stuck in a network of brokers there.
