UGC NET 2024 Postponed: UGC NET exam of this day postponed, new date to be announced soon

UGC NET 2024 Postponed: National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the examination to be held on January 15, 2025 under the UGC NET December 2024 session. According to the information of NTA, this decision has been taken keeping in mind the festivals like Makar Sankranti and Pongal. Apart from the examination postponed on January 15, examinations on all other dates (January 16, 2025 and onwards) will be held as per their scheduled schedule.

That’s why the exam was postponed

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has informed that it had received several suggestions demanding postponement of the UGC NET exam scheduled to be held on January 15, 2025, in view of Pongal, Makar Sankranti and other festivals. Keeping in mind the interests of the students, the agency has decided to postpone the UGC NET December 2024 examination scheduled on January 15, 2025. However, the examination to be held on January 16, 2025, will be held on its previously scheduled date only.

NTA issued this notice

NTA has mentioned in its notice that the National Testing Agency has received several suggestions, demanding postponement of the UGC NET exam scheduled to be held on January 15, 2025, in view of Pongal, Makar Sankranti and other festivals. Keeping in mind the interests of the students, the agency has decided to postpone the UGC NET December 2025 examination scheduled on January 15, 2025. However, the examination of January 16, 2025 will be conducted as per the already scheduled schedule.
