According to the terms of this ceasefire, Hezbollah will withdraw its fighters and weapons from the Blue Line within two months. This will allow the people of both the countries to return to their homes.

According to the terms of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hezbollah, Hezbollah will retreat about 40 kilometers from the Israel-Lebanon border, while the Israeli army will have to completely vacate the Lebanese area. United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701
