Uniform Civil Code implemented in Uttarakhand, the country’s first state to do so

• SDM Registrar and Gram Panchayat Development Officer will be sub -registrars in rural areas to implement UCC.
• While the Nagar Panchayat, municipalities will have the concerned SDM Registrar and Executive Officer Sub Registrar.
• Similarly, the Municipal Commissioner Registrar and Tax Inspector will be sub -registrars in the municipal area.
• In the cantonment area, the concerned CEO Registrar and Resident Medical Officer or CEO will be sub -registrars.
• On top of all this will be the Registrar General, who will be the secretary level officers and Inspector General of registration.

• If the registrar is unable to take action within the stipulated time, then the matter will go to the Registrar General from Auto Forward.
• Similarly, an appeal can be made to the Registrar General against the order of the Registrar or Sub Registrar, who will dispose of the appeal within 60 days and issue the order.

• Normally 15 days and immediately within three days in the immediate three days, checking of all documents and information, taking a decision from the applicant seeking clarification.
• Along with imposing a fine for not giving timely applications or violating the rules, inform the police, as well as inform the parents or parents if the marriage information is not verified.

Live in relationship

The live in relationship already established before the Code is implemented, registration will have to be done within a month from the date of implementation of Code. Whereas after the Code is implemented, the registration of the live in relationship established will have to be registered within one month from the date of admission in the livein relationship.

Live in terms

1. One or both companions can end live in the online or offline manner. If only one partner applies, the registrar will accept it only on the basis of confirmation of another.
2. If the woman becomes pregnant with a live in relationship, then the registrar will have to give information compulsorily. It has to be updated within 30 days of childbirth.

Marriage disconnection

While applying for divorce or marriage emptiness, the details of marriage registration, divorce or marriage vacancy are court case number, date of final order, details of children copy of the final order of the court.

Will

The will will be possible in three ways. Through filling the form on the portal, uploading handwritten or typed fat or uploading a will in a three -minute video.
