Target to win 215 seats in 2026 in Bengal Mamta Banerjee said that assembly elections will be held in 2026 in West Bengal. Out of the 294 assembly seats in the state, the party has targeted to win 215 seats this time. It will be our endeavor to stop the BJP on the least seats even in the Tariya Vidhan Sabha of the Lok Sabha. TMC won 213 seats in the 2021 assembly elections. At the same time, BJP got 77 seats.
