The grand event of Mahakumbh is surprising the world – CM Yogi
I am not responsible for what I don’t understand. I used to believe this earlier also and I believe even today that Sanatan Dharma is the national religion of India. Creed, sect, caste may be different, but religion is one. That is Sanatan Dharma. Kumbh is a festival of Sanatan Dharma.

CM Yogi said that the government had no faith in Kumbh in 2013. He used to wake up at 11 o’clock and sit in the gathering at 5 o’clock, how would he make arrangements for the Kumbh.
How did a mega event like Maha Kumbh take place that shocked the world?
- Fair area expanded in Prayagraj
- Care was taken to ensure that traffic, parking and devotees did not have to travel long distances.
- An action plan for systematic development of Prayagraj City was taken forward.
- Railways and air connectivity were developed.
- Thousands of years ago, after conquering Lanka, Maryada Purushottam Prabhu Shri Ram had landed in Prayagraj by Pushpak Viman to see Maharishi Bhardwaj, in these thousands of years this country could not provide a civil terminal to Prayagraj. For the first time in 2019, a civil terminal was built in Prayagraj.
- There were more than 150 roads in Prayagraj which were converted from single lane to double lane and from double lane to four lane.
- The underpass was rejuvenated.
- Earlier toilets were buried in sand. There was foul smell in the entire fair. But it was changed.
