The steps of applying for UPPSC PCS Mains Exam are as follows-
- First go to the official website uppsc.up.nic.in
- Now go to the recruitment dashboard tab on homepage
- Click on PCS Mains 2024 link
- Enter your login details and submit
- Check and download the application form
- Take a printout for future reference.

The exam will be 1,500 marks
UPPSC PCS Mains Exam will be of 1500 marks and will have 8 papers. The deadline of each paper will be 3 hours. This exam will be in two shifts:
- First shift: 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.
- Second shift: 2 pm to 5 pm.
General Hindi will be the first paper (UPPSC PCS Mains Exam)
The first paper will be of general Hindi and will be of 150 marks. The second paper will be of essay and it will be of 150 marks. The remaining 6 papers will be of general studies and each paper will be of 200 marks. After passing the main examination, candidates will be called for interview which will be of 100 marks.
