Rajya Sabha member and Congress National Treasurer Ajay Maken held a press conference regarding the tampering case with the statue of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar in Amritsar. Congress has condemned this incident while attacking the Aam Aadmi Party. Ajay Maken said that the way Baba Saheb’s Purti was attacked in Amritsar yesterday is very condemnable, it is an attack on the Constitution. Today is the second episode of Aam Aadmi Party’s sin. KPS Gill had predicted on 2 February 2017 that terrorism would increase if Aam Aadmi Party government is formed in Punjab.”

Maken said, “The AAP government has created an atmosphere of fear in Punjab. Not only the public, even the police have stopped coming out at night. This government does not even believe in the Constitution. The AAP government, which is anti-national, has been banned in Punjab and Delhi. On AAP’s manifesto for Delhi Assembly elections, Maken said that first Arvind Kejriwal should talk about the promises made in the last elections. Delhi Congress President Devendra Yadav reacted to the tampering with Ambedkar’s statue. He described Aam Aadmi Party as anti-Dalit and said that it says one thing and does another.

In this context, Congress leader Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa said, “Arvind Kejriwal is roaming around with the model of ruining the country. Whatever is happening in Punjab today is the contribution of the Aam Aadmi Party. There is a demand from us to file a case against Pannu.” Pannu had challenged that he had given funds of 16 million dollars i.e. 128 crores and also campaigned. If you have the courage, do something against us, but neither Bhagwant Mann did anything.

He further said, “Khalistanis are being encouraged everywhere in Punjab. Till December 31, grenade attacks have taken place on eight police stations of Punjab. Now their number has increased to 11. This grenade is Austrian and was also used in the Mumbai attack. But Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann neither held any press conference nor held any meeting with the police officers. The police have started sitting there in fear of the law and order situation of the state under the rule of AAP government. A threat has arisen.”
