This recruitment drive is being organized to fill a total of 108 posts. Through the campaign, 5 posts of Geologist, 3 posts of Geophysicist (Surface), 2 posts of Geophysicist (Wales), 11 posts of AEE (Production) – Mechanical, 19 posts of AEE (Production) – Petroleum, AEE (Production) – Chemical. 23 posts of AEE (Drilling) – 23 posts of Mechanical, AEE (Drilling) – 6 posts of Petroleum posts, 6 posts of AEE (Mechanical) and 10 posts of AEE (Electrical) will be filled.
Candidates applying for these posts will have to see the detailed notification of ONGC for information related to educational qualification and age limit.
Candidates on these posts will be selected on the basis of Computer Based Examination (CBT). The format of the examination will be objective type. The exam will have questions related to general awareness, related subjects, English language and aptitude. The time duration will be 2 hours.
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of CBT marks in the ratio of 1:5. If multiple candidates obtain the same marks at the minimum cutoff score, all will be shortlisted. After this there will be personal interview and group discussion.
The applying candidates will have to pay the application fee. General/EWS/OBC category candidates applying will have to pay a fee of Rs 1000. Whereas SC/ST/PwBD are exempted from paying fees.
