BPSC: The demonstration of the candidates continues demanding the cancellation of the 70th preliminary examination of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). Their demand is that the exam should be canceled due to paper leak. It is noteworthy that the 70th BPSC preliminary examination was conducted on December 13 at various centers in Patna. Due to delay in receiving the papers at Bapu examination centre, the examination was disrupted there, due to which the examination at that center was cancelled. Now candidates across the state are demanding cancellation of the examination at all centres. Meanwhile, Bihar Government’s Information Technology and SC-ST Welfare Minister Dr. Santosh Suman said that the government is paying attention to all the demands of the candidates and the matter is being investigated impartially. Minister Santosh Suman, while talking to journalists on Thursday, said that the investigation is going on and the government believes that the BPSC commission is capable. He assured that whatever is appropriate, the decision will be taken accordingly. He also informed that the examination of only one center has been canceled and the Commission is taking the complaints of the candidates seriously. When he was asked that CCTV footage had shown mobile phones in the hands of some people in the examination hall, he said that the Commission will not allow injustice to any candidate. If irregularities are found, re-examination will be conducted. On the demand for cancellation of the examination, BPSC Chairman Parmar Ravi Manubhai said that the examination was conducted amid complete transparency and tight security. He told that the question papers were printed from different states and three hours before the start of the examination, it was decided through lottery which set would be sent to which centre. Also, strict action will be taken against those spreading rumors of question paper leak.
