According to local newspaper reports, ‘Munni Saha was wanted in a case related to the death of a student during anti-reservation protests in the country, due to which former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had to step down.’ Police said that Munni Saha was rescued from Kawaran Bazaar area of ​​Dhaka, where a mob had surrounded him.

Had to face panic attack

Rezaul Karim Mallik, a senior official of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, told The Daily Star newspaper, “People handed Saha over to the police. He suffered a panic attack. Considering his health condition and the fact that he was a The woman is a journalist, she has been released. Saha has been asked to seek bail from the court and comply with police summons in future.”

Bangladesh journalist video went viral

The video of this incident is also going viral on social media, in which Saha is seen surrounded by the crowd. During this, a man is heard accusing him of misleading people regarding the 2009 Bangladesh Rifles insurgency, in which 57 people lost their lives. The person said, “You are making every possible effort to make this country a part of India. The blood of the students is on your hands. How can you, being a citizen of this country, harm this country?” To this Saha replied, “How have I caused any harm? This is my country too.”
