Hyderabad:
In today’s time, the phase of giving physical punishments to students in schools is over, but a very shocking case has come to light in a school in Andhra Pradesh, where the headmaster of the school gave himself a punishment. According to the information, Sodhi Raman, Headmaster of Zilla Parishad High School, Vijayanagar, got up in front of his students and put a sit-up and questioned his ability to teach the students anything.
A video of this incident is becoming fiercely viral on social media. In the video, the head master is seen standing on the school stage in front of a big group of students. He is accompanied by a student and another person who looks a teacher. After this, he gives a speech, in which he was seen convicted himself. He said that he has failed to teach educational qualifications and discipline to his students. He also asked parents to cooperate with teachers to get better results in school.
He said, “We can’t beat or scold you. We are forced to keep our hands tied. Even though we are teaching, working so hard, but in practice, in education, writing skills or there is no difference in reading skills. If the problem is in you or we say in you? While matching the verb along with the words, he first punished himself, lay on the floor in full length, then started to sit in front of his surprised students.

The children kept opening their mouths first, then the screams of ‘Do not do sir, please do not do’ started coming. But Raman made at least 50 sites at a time. His move was appreciated by Minister of State Nara Lokesh, who posted a video on X. In his post, he wrote, “A video of Chinta Raman, Principal of Pent ZP High School of Bobbili Mandal in Vijayanagaram district, came to my attention through social media, in which he is saying that the children are saying that the educational progress of the children is minimum and they are not listening to them … without punishing the students, but making fun of them. Principal! If all work together and encourage, then the children of our government schools will do wonders. Your idea of self-discipline to understand them without punishing them is good, congratulations. Let us all together raise the standards of education. Let us work towards our children’s education, physical and mental development and pave the way for their golden future. “
