These days a grand event of ‘Kashi Tamil Sangam’ is going on at Banaras Hindu University (BHU), which reveals centuries -old cultural, spiritual and educational relations between Kashi and Tamil Nadu. In this connection, an academic conference on the subject of ‘Academics for Developed India’ was organized in Pandit Omkar Nath Thakur Auditorium of BHU. In this, 200 participants from various central universities across the country participated and discussed the future of India by 2047 through education.

The program was inaugurated by a welcome address of V Ramnathan, Professor of IIT BHU’s Chemistry Department. After this, the statue of Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya was garlanded. Former Vice Chancellor of South Bihar Central University Prof. CS Rathore honored the distinguished guests and appreciated their contribution to their educational field. A documentary based on cultural and historical relations between Kashi and Tamil Nadu was also shown on the occasion. Dr. Lavanya of Mathematical Science Department of IIT BHU gave a lecture on the theme ‘New Education Policy 2020 and Developed India @ 2047: India’s future outline’. He underlined the points of the National Education Policy 2020, which include multi-disciplinary and overall education, technology in teaching, ensure equality and access by promoting Indian languages ​​and strengthening innovation and accountability through improvement in governance system. It is said. Dr. Lavanya said that IIT BHU is working towards developing a flexible educational structure, which encourages creativity, endocrine studies and innovation.

Professor Sanjay Kumar of BHU’s English Department, Sanjay Kumar, expressed his views on the topic of ‘Role of Education in realizing the target of developed India @ 2047’. He quoted Nelson Mandela’s words, saying, “Education is the most powerful weapon that you can change the world.” Professor Sanjay said that investment in education is possible to improve economic progress, entrepreneurship, innovation, poverty alleviation, social equality, gender inclusion and standard of living.

KM Sushindran, head of TCS Academic Alliance Group, highlighted the historical and educational relations of Kashi and Kanchi. He said that Kashi has become a global center of knowledge, innovation and interdisciplinary research due to institutions like BHU and IIT BHU. He said that the confluence of artificial intelligence (AI), engineering, technology and other fields of education will speed up future creativity and innovation. He also said that artificial intelligence has become an important efficiency to give new looks to future jobs and educational areas.
Country capital to demographic dividend
Dr. Darshani George of the Chemical Engineering Department of IIT BHU gave information about government schemes such as skilled India and Prime Minister Research Fellowship (PMRF), which are helpful in the development of students. At the same time, Shubhangi described India’s demographic dividend as the capital of the country and emphasized the transformational power of education. He discussed government campaigns like new education policy, Digital India, Skill India and self, which aim to empower youth.
ICAR-IIVR is busy increasing crop production
Jai Singh, a researcher at the Indian Vegetable Research Institute (ICAR-IIVR), said that the objective of ICAR-IIVR is to increase crop production and ensure India’s food security by maintaining nutritional price. Satyaprakash Malaviya, a disabled researcher of the Department of History, shared his entrepreneurship journey and told how he conquered his difficulties and made a mark as a successful entrepreneur.
