Virat Kohli raised questions, BCCI hit ‘U-turn’, big update about family rule

Bcci ‘Family Diktat: The Board of Control for Cricket in India had set guidelines of 10 points after the defeat of Team India 1-3 in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series. In this, the board also made the rules strict about keeping the players with the family. But many veterans raised questions about this rule. Recently, Virat Kohli also openly put his ashes on this issue and criticized this rule of BCCI. At the same time, there is news that the BCCI can take a U-turn on this rule.

BCCI can take U-turn

According to the report of India Today, sources said that if the players want their family and close people to stay with them for a long time, then the BCCI can change their rules about the family. The board may allow the player and the associate staff to stay together for longer than the rules, provided the players obtain permission from the board.

This U-turn star batsman of BCCI supported the presence of players’ families on the tours by Virat Kohli, saying that he would always like to have personal support to deal with difficult and tense days on the field instead of being depressed alone in his hotel room.

A top BCCI source said, “If the players want their family to stay for a long time, they can apply for permission. The BCCI who thinks appropriate will take a decision.”

BCCI changed rules

India had limited the limit of spending time with the players’ family for 14 days on a tour of more than 45 days in the directive released by the 1-3 defeat in the Test series from Australia. According to this, the players’ wife, child or female friends can stay with them for a maximum of one week on small tours. The families of Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Shami were in Dubai during the recently concluded Champions Trophy but they did not stay in the team hotel and the families were affected by the players, not the BCCI.

Kohli raised questions

Kohli said during the RCB’s ‘Innovation Lab’ conference on Saturday, “It is very difficult to explain the role of the family. Every time you are in a stressful situation, how important it is to come back to your family. I don’t think people do not think that people understand its importance.”

Kohli said that being with the family helps the player recover from the disappointment on the field. He said, “I do not want to sit in my room and be depressed alone. I want to be normal. Only then you can take your game as a responsibility.” Kohli said, “You fulfill your commitment outside and then you come back home, you are with family and the atmosphere in your house is completely normal and normal family life goes on.”

This 36 -year -old player said, “I was very disappointed because those who had nothing to do in this matter were also included in the discussion who said,” Oh, perhaps the players should be kept away from the family “. He said, “And if you ask a player if you want your family to be around you all the time? So they will say ‘yes’.”
