Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief and former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has alleged a scam in the name of the ongoing assembly elections in Delhi. Describing the people of UP-Bihar as fake voters, he said that the BJP is rigging the voter list on a large scale and the local election officials have surrendered before the BJP. At the same time, BJP has fiercely targeted Kejriwal.
While sharing it on social media site X (formerly Twitter), Arvind Kejriwal wrote in his post, “Scam is happening in the name of elections in Delhi. BJP is rigging the voter list on a large scale. Local election officials have surrendered before BJP. Today I met the Election Commission and complained. If the Election Commission does not take immediate action, democracy will be murdered in Delhi.”
Arvind Kejriwal said he accompanied Delhi Chief Minister Atishi, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and MP Sanjay Singh to meet the Election Commissioner. There he made many complaints about BJP. Kejriwal said, “We had some issues. One of these was that 5500 votes have come to be cast in the Delhi Assembly between 15th December and 7th January i.e. in 22 days.
Arvind Kejriwal said that there are only one lakh voters in New Delhi Assembly constituency and out of these, five and a half lakh votes are being deducted. He said that when the election officials heard these cases, it was found that none of these people had applied to remove their names from the voter list. Kejriwal says that fake applications were given in the name of these people.
Alleging scam, Kejriwal said, “This means that a scam is going on on a very large scale. A huge fraud is going on. In the last 15 days, applications have been received to add names of 13000 new voters. Where did these people come from suddenly? Obviously, these people (BJP) are getting fake votes by luring people from UP and Bihar… by luring people from UP and surrounding states.”
He said that if 18.5 percent votes in an assembly are diverted here and there, then this election is nothing, it is a farce… a drama. Apart from this, Kejriwal accused BJP’s New Delhi candidate Pravesh Verma of wooing voters by distributing notes and setting up jobs and also complained to the Election Commission.

Arvind Kejriwal said, “Pravesh Verma is openly organizing job camps in New Delhi area. Are registering. Money is being distributed openly. Spectacles are being distributed openly in the health camp. He has announced that job fairs will be organized on January 15. All this comes under corrupt acts under various rules and regulations of the Election Commission.”
He said that he raided the house of Pravesh Verma and urged him to find out and stop him from contesting the elections. He also accused the election officials of facilitating their alleged wrongdoings by the BJP. He demanded the removal of local DO and ERO. He said that these officers do not have the courage to stop the BJP.
BJP has hit back strongly after Arvind Kejriwal called the people of UP-Bihar as ‘fake’ voters. BJP IT Cell chief Amit Malviya wrote in his post, “People of UP-Bihar living in Delhi are fake for Arvind Kejriwal! But Rohingya and their relatives from Bangladeshi infiltrators? Now I don’t want you-da….”

Let us tell you that during the Aam Aadmi Party government of Arvind Kejriwal, Bangladeshi and Rohingya Muslims came and settled in Delhi on a large scale.
