Voucher note of grant will be given on taking house from builder in PM Awas Yojana in Madhya Pradesh, decided in Mohan cabinet today

A cabinet meeting is to be held in Bhopal under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister. Another major decision is that Housing Board will bring residential project on more than 17 hectares of Hukumchand Mill. For this, the registry will be done in favor of the Housing Board. This will be charged with a fee of about Rs 19 crore.

State Bureau, Bhopal. One million houses will be built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in the urban areas of Madhya Pradesh. A grant of Rs 2.5 lakh will be given to the person who builds houses on his own land. In this, one and a half lakh rupees will be received from the Center and one lakh rupees from the state government.

A voucher of the grant will be given on taking housing made by the builder registered with the landlord regulatory tribunal (RERA). Its provision has been made by the state government in the scheme. It will be presented at the cabinet meeting to be chaired by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on Tuesday.

  • Also, the Housing Board will bring a large residential project on the land of Hukumchand Mill in Indore. It will also be approved. After taking out the cost, half of the benefits will be given to Indore Municipal Corporation.
  • The semeconductor and drone policy can also be presented for consideration at the meeting. The consent has been sent to the Central Government to implement the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana 2.0 in the urban state. Now it will be approved by the cabinet to implement it.
  • In the scheme, one million houses will be constructed in five years. The grant of Rs 2.5 lakh for construction of housing on one’s own land will be continued.
  • A wide category of builders will be created. In this, the builders will be included, whose plan will be allowed from RERA and the record will be good. Under the scheme, eligible persons will be given a grant voucher for taking housing from them.

  • In the scheme, priority will be given to those who do not have firm housing anywhere. The annual income of up to nine lakh rupees and the people who have benefited in any housing scheme of the state and central government will be ineligible for the scheme.
  • A person, who has an annual income of up to three lakh rupees and has his own plot, will be assisted through the Central and State Government to help them to build a house. This amount will be given in three installments.
  • Similarly, in the project of government or private agency, the economically weaker section will be given a flat of 30 to 45 square meters.
  • In the meeting, the Department of Science and Technology can keep semiconductor and drone policy format for approval. The government is going to implement 20 policies before GIS. These policies have been prepared in this episode.
