In Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, a police constable named Badshah Khan has been accused of love jihad. A departmental inquiry has also been started against him. Badshah is accused of trying to establish rapport with a Hindu student pursuing a nursing course by pretending to be Amit and later having a physical relationship with her to extort money. The victim also told that she was being pressured to convert to Islam.
This incident took place in Chinhat police station area of Lucknow. The victim, originally from Shahjahanpur, is pursuing a nursing course in a college. On Monday (30 December 2024), the victim lodged a police complaint against Constable Badshah posted in Shahjahanpur district. In the complaint, the victim told that she had met Badshah Khan in 2014. Then Badshah Khan had described himself as Amit.

The victim tells that after becoming friends with Amit, Badshah Khan took her to many places. In the year 2015, Badshah Khan was selected for the post of constable in UP Police. After becoming a soldier, the king also married a Muslim girl. When the victim came to know about the marriage of Amit Bane Badshah, she wanted to stop the conversation. It is alleged that Badshah then tricked his wife into divorcing him within a few days.
When things did not work out, Badshah also started circling around the victim’s college. By doing this, Constable Khan deceived the victim and had physical relations with her several times for 6 years. To Dainik Bhaskar, the victim accused Badshah of exorcising and practicing sorcery. told Is. For this he used to order clothes for the victim and her family members. Within a short time, he started creating discord in the victim’s family. The result was that the victim got separated from her family.
Meanwhile, Badshah Khan once demanded Rs 50 thousand from the victim. The victim gave this money to Badshah online. It is claimed that then for the first time the victim came to know that he was a Muslim. When the victim asked questions in this regard, Badshah pressured her to accept Islam. The king said that 4 Nikahs are permissible in his religion and if she becomes a Muslim, he is ready to keep her as his second wife.
At present, Badshah has become the father of a son, but blackmailing his victim continued till 2024. On December 27, 2024, Sipahi Khan demanded Rs 10 lakh from the victim. On refusal, he threatened to make the victim’s obscene video viral. Badshah scolded the victim and even said that her family would also be destroyed.
When the money was not received, Badshah got the victim student’s location traced through her mobile number. He reached the victim with his wife. Here the mother-in-law beat the victim mercilessly. In the complaint, the victim claims that Badshah Khan has so far extorted around Rs 55 lakh from her. Along with Badshah Khan, his brothers are also said to be involved in extorting money.
Taking cognizance of the matter, investigation is being done by ACP Gomati Nagar. When the applicant was contacted for the complaint, she was told to provide it immediately. Necessary legal action will be taken upon receipt of the complaint.
