This simply remains a mystery, due to which people are continuously falling ill. This trend is not showing any signs of stopping. Whether children or adults, everyone is falling prey to it. The situation has worsened to such an extent that there is a need to create a containment zone in Badal village of Rajouri. Now a ban has been imposed on gathering of crowd here. There is an outcry in the village due to the death of 17 people from 3 families in the last 44 days. 5 people are still admitted in the hospital.
What are the symptoms of the mysterious disease?
Patients admitted to the hospital are having high fever. He is having difficulty in breathing and unconsciousness is also seen in him. A person named Mohammad Fazal died of this disease on 7 December. Now the condition of his sister-in-law’s three daughters has also deteriorated. He has been referred to Jammu for treatment. In view of the deteriorating situation in Badal village, quarantine centers have been made, in which more than 60 people have been sent.

Where were the containment zones created?

Second containment zone- Those people have been kept, who have come in contact with people affected by the mysterious disease. These people have been kept in the Government Medical College. Doctors are constantly monitoring his health.
Third Containment Zone- All the families of the village have been kept. The medical staff is constantly monitoring their eating and drinking habits. It is the responsibility of this staff to provide them food and water. The police team is also keeping an eye on them.

Know about sick patients
GMC Medical Superintendent Dr. Shamim Ahmed said that since December, 17 people from three families of the village are suffering from a mysterious disease, including six small children. People are continuously falling prey to the disease. Five people were initially admitted to CHC Kandi, from where seriously ill 25-year-old Ajaz Khan was referred to PGI Chandigarh with the help of air ambulance on Wednesday. While his three younger sisters were referred to GMC Rajouri. Then he was airlifted to Jammu by army helicopter. The fifth patient was sent from CHC Kandi to GMC Rajouri.
