Ruckus created after statement regarding Pushpa 2 film
Allu Arjun’s film Pushpa 2 created a stir since its release. Fans liked this film very much and its collection is still going well. Recently, Aamir Khan’s team has also reacted and praised the worldwide collection of this film. But meanwhile, a war of words is also being seen between South and Bollywood directors on the film. It started after a post by Naga Vamsi. After this, Hansal Mehta also reacted and later other directors also expressed their disagreement on this post of Naga Vamsi.
Naga Vamsi’s statement
Naga Vamsi took a dig at Bollywood on the collection of Pushpa 2 and said – I don’t think that the whole of Mumbai would have lost sleep when Pushpa 2 did wonders in just one day and collected Rs 80 crore on Sunday. When Naga talked about this, Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor was also a part of the conversation. This statement of Naga quickly went viral and some Bollywood film directors were displeased. In such a situation, many filmmakers including Hansal Mehta also gave their reaction on this.

After Naga Vamsi’s statement, many filmmakers started giving their sharp reaction on it. Hansal Mehta, who made great films like Shahid and Mulk, said on this – Whatever you are, just chill. I live in Mumbai and sleep very well. This person Naga Vamsi is very arrogant and now I know who he is. As a producer, his hit film Lucky Bhaskar is borrowed from a scam series. I mentioned this film because this film is made on the pattern on which we have already made a film and made it a hit. There is a similar pattern behind the success of this film. But everyone wins. No one is greater than anyone else. These standards are destructive and arrogance is making it even worse.

Reacting to this, director Sanjay Gupta, who made films like Shootout at Wadala and Kaabil, said – We slept very peacefully and happily knowing that Rs 86 crore was collected by our exhibitors in a single day. Maybe this happens in your case but someone else’s success does not spoil our nights. Reacting to this, Siddharth Anand, director of Shahrukh Khan’s film Pathan, wrote – Although Mumbai is a city that never sleeps. But it happens. Some people do not know our Mumbai very well. Let us add one more thing to this. I have lived in both Bandra and Juhu.

Did Naga Vamsi insult Boney Kapoor?
Even though South and Bollywood are now moving forward together, there is also a war of words between the two. When Naga Vamsi said this, many people felt that he was insulting veteran Bollywood film producer Boney Kapoor. But Naga Vamsi reacted to this also. He said- You people do not need to tell me how to respect elders. We respect Boney Kapoor ji more than anyone and even during the discussion I did not disrespect Boney ji in any way. This was a healthy conversation. Boney ji and I enjoyed this conversation a lot and even hugged each other. So, do not draw any conclusions based on what you have seen and assumed.
