Retired IAS officer of Gujarat cadre PK Mishra is currently working as Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister. According to an official order, the tenure of Tamil Nadu cadre’s retired IAS officer Das will be till the tenure of the Prime Minister or till further orders. The order said, “The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shaktikanta Das, IAS (retired) as Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister – 2. His appointment will be effective from the date of taking charge. ”
