After this, an FIR has been registered against Tawde on the complaint of the Election Commission. However, FIR has not been registered in the case of receipt of cash. After the campaign was over, a case was registered against him at Tulinj police station in Virar for violation of the code of conduct. Apart from him, a case has also been registered against BJP candidate Rajan Naik.

Meanwhile, senior BJP leader Vinod Tawde has completely rejected these allegations against him.

Tawde told the media, “A meeting of Nalasopara MLAs was going on. The model code of conduct for the polling day, how the voting machines will be sealed and if any objection has to be raised, how it will be done.
