Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024 Just a day before, BJP’s National General Secretary Vinod Tawde has been seriously accused of distributing money to woo voters. Rs 9 lakh in cash has also been recovered from Tawde’s room. Bahujan Vikas Aghadi workers alleged that Tawde had come to Nalasopara assembly constituency of Palghar to distribute money. They surrounded Vinod Tawde at the meeting place and created a ruckus. Its video has also surfaced. After this, FIR has been registered against Vinod Tawde.
The political atmosphere of Maharashtra has become heated after the allegations of distribution of money against Vinod Tawde. Bahujan Vikas Aghadi workers surrounded Tawde, showed him the money and created a ruckus. According to the information, they tore the tires of Vinod Tawde’s car, due to which he had to leave from there in Hitendra Thakur’s car.
There was a huge uproar on the spot between the workers of BJP and Bahujan Vikas Aghadi. Due to the tense situation the hotel has been sealed.
After this, an FIR has been registered against Tawde on the complaint of the Election Commission. However, FIR has not been registered in the case of receipt of cash. After the campaign was over, a case was registered against him at Tulinj police station in Virar for violation of the code of conduct. Apart from him, a case has also been registered against BJP candidate Rajan Naik.
Meanwhile, senior BJP leader Vinod Tawde has completely rejected these allegations against him.
He said that the opposition, frustrated with the immense support that Mahayuti is getting, is trying to make it an issue by making baseless allegations. It is my request that the Election Commission should conduct an impartial investigation into this matter.
On the other hand, Shiv Sena (UBT) also targeted the viral video of BJP leader Vinod Tawade. Shiv Sena leader Priyanka Chaturvedi, while sharing the video on social media platform
Uddhav Thackeray has also reacted in Vinod Tawde’s case. He asked whether this note is Jihad, if we share it we will win. He said that it remains to be seen what action the Election Commission takes, the people of Maharashtra have seen everything with open eyes, tomorrow only the public will decide.
Whereas Sanjay Raut said that Vinod Tawde is the national general secretary of BJP. Tawde is an experienced leader. Despite that he was caught distributing money. He asked whether anyone from within BJP had tried to implicate Tawde. One thing is clear from this that BJP knows that if you divide, you will win. The real face of BJP has been revealed in the elections.
Congress also targeted BJP over Vinod Tawade’s viral video. While sharing the video on the social media platform, Congress wrote, “BJP National General Secretary Vinod Tawde has been caught distributing money in a hotel in Maharashtra. Vinod Tawde had taken money in a bag and is distributing money by calling people there. There was a huge uproar when the public came to know that BJP leaders were influencing the elections on the basis of money. From workers to big leaders, the Election Commission should take cognizance of this matter.”
Voting for the 288-member Maharashtra Assembly is to be held on November 20 and counting of votes will take place on November 23.
