After this, there was a strong reaction regarding this in India. Now the Standing Committee on IT Affairs of Parliament is going to take action in this matter.
Nishikant Dubey, head of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Communications and IT Affairs, has announced to summon Meta in this matter on Tuesday (January 14, 2025). He has given this information on X (earlier Twitter). Nishikant Dubey said, “My committee will call Meta for wrong information. Misinformation tarnishes the image of any democratic country. That organization will have to apologize to the Indian Parliament and the people for this mistake.”

This announcement came in response to the country’s Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav’s statement on Mark Zuckerberg’s statement. after Gave.
