Cyber ​​criminals cheated the woman for millions of rupees in a few seconds.

Woman gets SMS in the name of website

According to the report of Deccan Herald, the woman’s name is Vasundha Gopalakrishna Shenoy, who is working as a manager at a bank branch in Belthangadi. His phone had a link to the website named “Interviewshwshine.co.in”. The woman felt that there was a link to a job interview and clicked on that link without any doubt.

Gmail and Amazon Hacked

The woman said that as soon as clicked on the link, her Gmail and Amazon App were hacked. With their help, the hackers obtained credit cards and other personal information and then took out the money from the account in no time. After some time, the victim received many SMS alerts which revealed that 2,19,500 transactions have been done from the account. This entire amount was deducted with his bank card, credit card and Amazon card. As soon as he realized that he was fraudulently informed about it and informed about it.

Police registered a case

After the information of the victim, the police have registered a case on this matter. The police have registered the case under sections 66 (d) of the IT Act and sections 318 (2) and 318 (4) of the BNS Act. It is believed that the SMS link sent to the woman was associated with malware. On clicking on the link, the malware was installed on the smartphone and this is why the Gmail and Amazon apps were hacked. With the help of malware, the hackers got access to the app and bank account and withdraw money from the account.
