The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Brass Band comprising 51 male and 49 female musicians from different parts of the country played the tune of ‘Desh Ke Hum Hain Rakshak’ during the 76th Republic Day Parade on the duty path in Delhi.

The combined band of Sikh Lee Regiment Centre, Bihar Regiment Center and Ladakh Scouts Regiment Centre, followed by Mahar Regiment, followed by Jammu and Kashmir Rifles Regiment on the duty path during the Republic Day Parade.

BrahMos missile, Pinaka multi-launcher rocket system, BM-21 Agnibaan, 122 mm multiple barrel rocket launcher, Akash weapon system were displayed during the parade.

Infantry contingent on duty showcasing India’s advanced military capabilities, starting with the All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) ‘Chetak’ and the Specialist Mobility Vehicle, ‘Kapidhwaj’, which is used in tough terrain, especially high altitude areas. Designed for maneuver. This is followed by the Light Specialist Vehicle, Bajrang and the Vehicle Mounted Infantry Mortar System, Airavat. The parade also included Quick Reaction Force Vehicle (Heavy) ‘Nandighosh’ and Quick Reaction Force Vehicle (Medium) ‘Tripurantak’ developed under the Self-reliant India initiative. These indigenously manufactured armored vehicles excel in mobility and protection and are already serving in UN peacekeeping operations.

The first contingent during the Republic Day parade will be 61 Cavalry, the world’s only active cavalry regiment, followed by the main battle tank T-90 Bhishma, and then the Nag Missile System (NAMIS) on the line of duty.
