The contest in Milkipur by -election has become quite interesting. In this election, SP has nominated his MP Awadhesh Prasad’s son Ajit Prasad, BJP as Chandrabhanu Paswan. At the same time, Chandrashekhar Azad’s party Azad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram) of Nagina, who is trying to set a foot in Uttar Pradesh politics through Dalit society, has also fielded candidates in Milkipur. Azad’s party has fielded Suraj Chaudhary alias Santosh Kumar. Santosh used to be close to Awadhesh Prasad earlier. The interesting thing in this fight is that these three candidates belong to Pasi Jati. Therefore, the distribution in Milkipur’s biggest vote bank is fixed. In this election, rebel Bholanath Bharti of Congress is trying to make the fight quadrangular. It is noteworthy here that Bholanath Bharti has defeated SP candidate Ajit Prasad in the district panchayat elections.

How many votes of which caste in Milkipur

Dalit and Brahmins in Milkipur play a decisive role. Muslims are also in good numbers. The largest population of Dalits is the Pasi caste. But due to the passing of three candidates, this vote bank is scheduled. There are more than 60 thousand Brahmin votes in this area. Both major parties are engaged in wooing the Brahmins. The Brahmin leaders of both parties are engaged in campaigning for their respective parties. On the other hand, if we talk about OBC voters, then the population of Yadavs is more than 60 thousand. Similarly, Muslim votes are also more than 30 thousand. Both these classes are considered to be the vote bank of SP. Apart from this, the population of other castes of OBC is also about 40 thousand. These OBCs are divided into BJP and SP.
