Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, while rejecting the low allocation for infrastructure in the budget, said that he has no shortage of money for his projects. In an exclusive interview given to NDTV, Gadkari said that the country’s economic policy is on the right path. He said that the infrastructure has been the priority of the government since 2014. In this budget, adequate money has been arranged for the projects.

Nitin Gadkari said that efforts are on to purify the water of Yamuna. He also said that we are trying to fly aerial from Yamuna in Delhi and reach the Taj Mahal in Agra in 13 minutes. People will come back after seeing the Taj Mahal in 2 hours. Gadkari said that if our government is formed in Delhi, then Delhi will be pollution free in the next 5 years.
Gadkari said that I had taken another project that 900 hectares are on the side of Yamuna like in Singapore. An oxygen park should be built. I also talked to LG for this. But I do not have a department but it should be in Delhi, this is the wish of the people of Delhi.
Only EV bus will be seen in Delhi within 5 years
Nitin Gadkari said that our government is emphasizing on promoting electric vehicles. The Union Minister said that only electric vehicles will be seen in Delhi in the coming days. He said that in the coming days, the price of all types of cars will be uniform.
Resentment will be overcome with toll
Nitin Gadkari said that in the coming days, the displeasure of the people about the toll will be removed. However, he did not make it clear what his plan is for this. But he said that people have trouble with toll, their problem will be resolved soon.
