Weather Update IMD: Cold has now arrived in many states of the country. People have now started wearing sweaters and jackets. But the weather is still going to change in many states. In this winter season, North India is currently in the grip of dense fog. It is already raining with thunderstorms in South India and North-East India. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned of a cyclonic storm. Snowfall is also occurring in the hilly states above. Due to this all-round change in weather, the severity of winter may increase further in the entire country.
According to the Meteorological Department, the upper air cyclonic circulation is active over the eastern equatorial Indian Ocean and adjacent South Andaman, which extends to the middle troposphere of the ocean. Due to its impact, a low pressure area is likely to be formed. It is likely to move west-northwest towards southeast Bay of Bengal. During the next 2 days, a pressure area will form in the central parts of South Bay of Bengal. IMD has issued rain alert in 11 states.

stormy winds in sea areas
The Meteorological Department has said that a trough has formed due to cyclonic circulation in the eastern equatorial Indian Ocean and adjacent south. A Western Disturbance has become active due to southward inclination of winds with height in the lower and middle troposphere levels from Andaman Sea to Gulf of Mannar. Due to this, stormy winds will blow in the coastal states and there is a warning of heavy rain.
The Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rain in many states and union territories and heavy rain at isolated places from November 23 to 28. Key regions such as Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Assam and Meghalaya, and Tamil Nadu, as well as Kerala and Puducherry will be particularly affected.
There is a possibility of rain and lightning in Kerala, Mahe, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam on 25 and 26 November. Apart from this, there is a possibility of hailstorm at some places in Meghalaya on November 22. There will also be fog, there is a possibility of dense fog in many northern areas during late night and morning. Among these, there will be fog in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh from 24 to 25 November, in Uttarakhand from 24 and 26 November and in Himachal Pradesh from 24 to 26 November.

There will be dense fog in the morning and evening in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh. There will be sunshine during the day, but due to falling temperature you will feel cold. Air pollution has started reducing in Delhi-NCR and light fog has started appearing in the morning and evening. There is relief from sunlight during the day, but due to fog in the morning and evening, the temperature drops and one feels cold. The temperature in Delhi will fall further in the coming days.
