The examination scheduled between 28th to 30th January in Prayagraj will now be revised due to unavoidable reasons and will be conducted between 5th to 7th February. In the first phase, the process of Physical Standard Test (PST) and document verification will be completed.

Candidates who qualify the Document Verification and Physical Standard Test (PST) will participate in the UP Police race examination. Male candidates will have to complete the 4.8 km race in 25 minutes, while female candidates will have to complete the 2.4 km race in 14 minutes. Keep in mind, those candidates who are not able to complete their race in the stipulated time will be considered ineligible for the selection process.

So far three candidates have been caught using unfair means during the recruitment process. Among these, a female candidate has been arrested in Hapur for submitting fake certificate of dependent of a freedom fighter. Legal action is ongoing against him.
More than 3 lakh candidates are being examined daily
As part of the recruitment process, physical standard test and document verification has been started from 26th December. Every day, about 5,000 candidates are being examined in the Reserve Police Lines of 75 districts of UP, due to which the process of a total of 3.75 lakh candidates is being completed.
