These include Greenfield Airport, Formation of Makhana Board, National Institute of Food Technology, Extension of IIT Patna, Western Kosi Canal Project in Mithilanchal, Development of Lord Buddha and Vaishali and Vaishali. Along with the people of Bihar, the leaders of Bihar are also happy with this budget. Due to these projects, Bihar will get many benefits.

The formation of board will promote the production, marketing and processing of Makhana. Nearly of Mithilanchal region of Bihar 35,000 hectares Makhana is cultivated in. About 25,000 farmer families are associated with this. The Bihar government is also trying to cultivate Makhana in 50-60 thousand hectares in the next two-three years and add 50 thousand more farmers. The income of farmers will increase to become a board.

Makhana production in the country is in Bihar. 85 percent of the total makhana of the country is produced. Therefore, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced to organize people associated with this farming as FPO. The Makhana board will provide assistance and training to the farmers associated with it. Along with this, the board will ensure the benefit of all relevant government schemes to the farmers associated with it.

This will provide encouragement in Madhubani, Darbhanga, Purnia, Katihar, Saharsa, Madhepura, Supaul, Araria, Sitamarhi and Makhana in Kishanganj districts. Apart from this, the districts of Bengal, Assam and UP will also benefit, where Makhane is cultivated. Makhana of Bihar is exported to countries like America, Australia, France, Japan, England. The market of Makhana in India is 100 crores.

Bihar has also received three Greenfield Airports. Greenfield Airport would mean building an airport on a land where no construction has already been done. It is made by developing a full -fresh renewed. Is. Greenfield Airport is usually made far away from the city. These will be in addition to the expansion of Patna Airport and a brownfield airport in Bihta.

Let us know that the new terminal building is being constructed at Patna Airport at a cost of Rs 1,400 crore, which is in its final stages. It has been targeted to be completed this month. The creation of new terminals will increase the capacity of passengers. Currently, Patna Airport has a capacity of 1300 passengers daily in the peak hour. Its annual capacity is 23 lakhs.

Five flights can be parked here right now. The runway of Patna Airport is also very small i.e. 6800 feet. Along with this, there is no direct flight from here to abroad. Patna is not directly associated with many cities of the country. After the new terminal building of Patna Airport has started, the annual capacity of passengers here will be one crore.

With this, Patna will be connected to many cities of the country with direct flight. A direct flight service from Patna is also going to start from abroad. In addition, the facilities of the passengers will also increase rapidly. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has also spoken about the renovation of the closed airport with the construction of new airport under the flight scheme in the budget. Bihar is expected to benefit from this.

There itself, Bihta Airport The new building will be spread over 66,000 square meters, which will handle 50 lakh passengers annually. This can be extended to 1 crore passengers annually. The Y base will have a capacity of 3,000 passengers at a time. Along with this, 10 aircraft will be made parking. The airport, which is completed by the end of about 2027, plans to increase the length of the runway to 3700 meters.

The Finance Minister has also announced the establishment of National Food Technology, Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM) in Bihar in Bihar. This will strengthen food processing capabilities throughout the eastern region. Along with this, it will help in increasing the income of farmers, skill development and employment opportunities for the youth. With this, Bihar will be established as the center of food processing in eastern India.

The Union Budget has also announced to increase the number of seats in IIT Patna. The capacity of hostels and other infrastructure of IIT Patna established in Bihar 2008 will be expanded. Along with this, work will be done to make Bihar an educational hub. Along with this, a budget provision of Rs 500 crore has been made for AI education across the country including Bihar.

IIT has been built on about 501 acres of land in Bihta, about 35 km from Patna. This institute has been considered an institution of national importance. It has modern classrooms, laboratory and libraries. The institute has sports facilities like football, cricket, basketball and volleyball for students. IIT has courses like BSc, MTech, MBA and BBA.

In the year 2024, 797 seats were enrolled in 817 seats in IIT Patna. At the same time, 20 seats were left vacant. IIT Patna currently has two boys hostels and a girls hostel. Two married scholar apartments are also available for students of PhD and Masters. Currently, more than 1500 students are living in IIT Patna hostels.

The Western Kosi Canal Project will be started in the flood affected area of ​​Bihar in Kosi area. This project will benefit farmers who cultivate more than 2.5 lakh hectares of land in Mithilanchal area of ​​Bihar. It has tried to save from the havoc of floods. Prime Minister Dhan-Dhanya Krishi Yojana was also announced in the budget, which includes 100 districts of the country for the first time. These include many districts of Bihar. These two will be connected to other Buddhist sites in the country. This will give a boost to the tourism sector in Bihar and will increase the number of tourists coming to Bihar from all over the world. Nirmala Sitharaman said that the top 50 tourist destinations in the country will be developed in challenge mode in partnership with the respective states. This will increase the identity of Bihar sites on the world map.
