Meanwhile, for the first time on Friday, Dargah Diwan Zainual Abedin said that the history of the Dargah is 800 years old. In those days all this was crude. When Garib Nawaz brought Tasharif, it was a raw field. His grave was inside it. Now you can guess for yourself that the place where the grave will be will also be unpaved. Your tomb remained unbuilt for 150 years, there was no permanent construction there at all. How can a temple come below that?
Abedin said the scope of The Place of Worship 1991 is clear. On August 15, 1947, orders were given to keep all the religious places inside India as they were. If there is a case against a government body, notice has to be given before it, but no one was given notice. Along with this, the descendants of Khwaja Saheb were not made a party. The government cannot lick what it has written with spit. At the same time, Ajmer Dargah Anjuman Committee Secretary Sarwar Chishti said that we are also 30 crores, trying to suppress us is not right.

He came here and took complete information, did research and gathered information and also looked at documents. The report he presented is with the Government of India.

In this also all the points regarding the Dargah were clear. He has written in his book – I got a chance to visit many states of India. When I went inside Ajmer State, I saw that a grave was ruling the hearts of the people. There is a book from 1716 called Encyclopaedia Matriculation. This also has the complete history of the Dargah. This new controversy has been created only regarding the book. To what extent is this justified?
- History is written in the Supreme Court order in 1961 There is a Supreme Court judgment of 1961, in which the history of the Dargah is given. In February 2002, the Government of India had constituted a JPC regarding the administrator and property of the Dargah. It was also presented in the Rajya Sabha on 20 December 2002, which contains the complete story regarding the Dargah. In this, it is all clear what was the Dargah of Khwaja Saheb and whether there was any temple there or not.
- It is written in the book- It is said like this, it is heard like this Harvilas Sharda’s book was written in 1910. It was published again in 1920. The words clear cut are written on page number 92. First of all, Harvilas Sharda is not a historian. He was an educated man. It is clearly written in the book that it is said like this, it is heard like this. Whatever else the plaintiff had to say, he said it in the court.
Dargah Diwan said that Khwaja Hussain Nagori, grandson of Bahadshah of Malwa, had received a reward in some program. He had built Khwaja Saheb’s dome and Jannati Darwaza with that money. There were two kutcha mazaars, which were made permanent after 150-200 years.
Said- We have legal rights He said- I thank the Supreme Court for the order given today regarding Sambhal. I appeal to the people to maintain peace and not do anything that could create controversy. We have the legal right to go to the court and the court has accepted our point today. Will answer this legally in the court. We also have a panel of advocates.
Anjuman Dargah Committee Secretary Sarwar Chishti said that the Dargah of Khwaja Garib Nawaz is a spiritual place. The Places of Worship Act should be applicable everywhere. It is not right that everyone comes and files a case against any religious place.
The court had considered the petition regarding having a temple in the Dargah worthy of hearing. The Dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti in Ajmer has been claimed to be the Sankat Mochan Mahadev Temple. Considering the petition filed in Ajmer Civil Court worthy of hearing, the court has fixed December 20 as the next date of hearing. Hindu Sena National President Vishnu Gupta, who filed the petition, has mainly given 3 grounds.
Vishnu Gupta has said that the petition has been filed on the basis of 2 years of research and the facts given in the book of retired judge Harbilas Sharda. It is mentioned in the book that a Brahmin couple lived here and used to worship in the Mahadev temple built at the Dargah site. Apart from this, there are many other facts, which prove that before the Dargah, there was a Shiva temple here.
