Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) terrorist has been arrested in Kaushambi, Uttar Pradesh. He has been identified as Lazarus Christ. DGP Prashant Kumar said- Lazarus Mahakumbh was trying to carry out a big event (blast). After this he wanted to run to Portugal. He was provided hand grenade by Babbar Khalsa International.
DGP said- UP STF and Punjab Police raided Lazar Christ at 3:30 am on Thursday morning. He hails from Kurlyiana village in Amritsar district of Punjab. He worked for BKI’s German-based module head Swarn Singh aka Jeevan Fauji. Pakistan’s intelligence agency was also in direct contact with ISI.
The terrorist is being questioned at Kokhraj police station.
DGP said- STF has received 3 hand grenades, 2 detonators, 1 foreign pistol and 13 cartridges from him. Apart from this, Ghaziabad’s address Aadhaar card and a SIM card without SIM card have also been recovered.
Senior STF officers are questioning the terrorist at Kokhraj police station. He has named the names of the terrorists, who are living in America, Portugal and Qatar. Many important information has been received from his mobile.
Punjab Police officers and jawans are also present in the police station.
Terrorists killed in Pilibhit were provided ammunition
DGP Prashant Kumar said- On December 23 last year, Pilibhit and Punjab Police encountered three Khalistan Zindabad Force (KZF) terrorists. On December 19, the terrorists attacked the police post in Gurdaspur district of Punjab with a grenade.
The slain terrorists were identified as Gurvinder Singh, Virendra Singh alias Ravi and Jaspreet Singh alias Pratap Singh, residents of Gurdaspur. Lazarus had talks with these terrorists. These terrorists were provided with weapons and ammunition by Lazarus.
DGP said- Many important information has been received from Lazarus Christ’s mobile.
Used to bring weapons from Pakistan through drones DGP reported- Lazarus Christ had stayed in Lucknow, Kaushambi, Kanpur and other places. He used to bring weapons from Pakistan to India through drones. Lazarus said in interrogation that weapons were also asked from the border while bringing Mukhtar Ansari from Punjab to UP.
