In the last few months, lakhs of mobile users have connected with BSNL.

Jio vs Airtel vs BSNL vs Vi: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited i.e. BSNL has been in the headlines in the last few months. If you use BSNL SIM in your smartphone then there is good news for you. BSNL has set a new record. The government company has now left Jio, Airtel and Vi behind in terms of adding user base. In the last few months, people’s attraction towards BSNL has suddenly increased.

Let us tell you that ever since Jio, Airtel and Vi have increased the prices of their plans, the inclination of customers towards BSNL has increased once again. A big reason for this is that the government company is still offering recharge plans at its old prices. There seems to be little possibility of increase in the prices of BASNL recharge plans in future also.

BSNL prevailed over everyone

Recently, a data was released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India i.e. TRAI. According to this, in the month of September, the country’s major telecom companies including Jio, Airtel and Vi lost one crore customers. This month too, the dominance of government telecom company BSNL continued. In September, it was only BSNL which added customers. 8.5 lakh new users joined BSNL in September.

Jio suffered huge loss

Jio lost more than 79 lakh users in the month of September. Of this number, there were more than 46 lakh Jio users who were using wireless service. If we talk about Airtel, it lost about 14.34 lakh users this month. Vi also suffered huge losses this month. More than 15 lakh users left Vi. After this loss, Airtel is now left with 38.34 crore users. At the same time, Vi is now left with only 21.24 crore users.

BSNL’s bat-bat

After more than 8.49 lakh users joined BSNL in the month of September, the total number of customers of the government company has now reached 9.18 crore. It has been clearly stated by the Chairman and Managing Director of the company that the company will not increase the prices of tariff plans in any way in the coming days. At the same time, BSNL has also increased the pace of installation of 4G towers to increase the number of customers.

Let us tell you that even though BSNL has moved ahead in terms of wireless users, the broadband segment is still dominated by Jio, Airtel and Vi. Jio currently has a total of 47.7 crore customers in broadband. There are about 28.5 crore users with Airtel. Whereas Vi has a total of 12.6 crore users in broadband, while BSNL has 3.7 crore users.
