Earlier on Friday, Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) leaders Balbir Singh Rajewal, Joginder Singh Ugrahan, Darshanpal Singh and others reached Khanauri border and met Dallewal. Farmer leaders handed over the proposal to the Morcha leaders in the Mahapanchayat held in Moga on January 9.
Farmer leaders sought everyone’s cooperation to strengthen this movement and called upon the Central Government to quickly fulfill the demand of MSP Guarantee Act.

Farmer leader detained before protest in UP On the call of Samyukt Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha, effigies of Modi government were burnt at village level across the country on Friday. To stop this movement in Uttar Pradesh, farmer leaders were put under house arrest in many districts including Bulandshahr and Aligarh, due to which anger among the farmers has increased.
Farmer leaders called it a suppression of democracy and warned that if anything untoward happens regarding Dallewal’s health, there will be a huge agitation by farmers in the entire country.
Farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal had released a video message on Friday.
Dallewal said- MoTell Di to accept his demands, I will give up the fast. Dallewal released a video message on Friday morning. He said that if Prime Minister Modi accepts our demands, I will leave the fast. Fasting is neither our business nor our hobby.
We received information here that on behalf of the Punjab BJP unit, an appeal has been made to Akal Takht Sahib to break Dallewal’s fast. He should be ordered through the Jathedars and Panj Pyaras to leave the fast. I pay respect to Akal Takht Sahib and all the Takhts and Panj Pyaras.
The question is that the people of Punjab BJP unit are the people of Punjab, residents of Punjab. And this is what we are fighting. This is what we are demanding. He is for entire Punjab. So if you want to go then go to Modi ji. You should go to the Vice President. He has spoken very clearly about the farmers. You should go to Agriculture Minister and Amit Shah, but you are going to the Jathedar of Shri Akal Takht Sahib. What does this mean? What’s inside you?
I again fold my hands to you that instead of going towards Akal Takht Sahib, you please ask Modi ji to accept our demands, then we will give up the fast. Our fasting is not a business. Nor is it our hobby. Thank you. I request the BJP unit of Punjab to talk to Modi ji.
8 hearings of Dallewal case in Supreme Court, what has happened till now…
1. December 13- Provide immediate medical help Dallewal was sitting on a fast on 26 November. On December 13, a hearing regarding the fast unto death was held in the Supreme Court. In this, the Supreme Court asked the Punjab and Central Government to provide immediate medical help to Dallewal. They should not be force fed anything. His life is more important than the movement. After this, Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav and Central Home Director Mayank Mishra reached Khanauri and met Dallewal.

On this the Supreme Court asked that the 70 year old man is on hunger strike for 24 days. Who is the doctor who is telling Dallewal to be right without any test? How can you say Dallewal is okay? When he was not examined, blood test was not done, ECG was not done.
4. December 20- Officials take decision on hospitalization The Supreme Court said that Dallewal’s condition is worsening every day. Why doesn’t the Punjab government make him shift in the hospital? This is their responsibility. Let the authorities decide if they need to be admitted to hospital.
