DU UG Admission 2025: Delhi University has released the admission information bulletin for the academic session 2025-26. Admission to DU graduate programs will be available on the basis of the marks of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET)- UG-2025. Along with uploading the information bulletin to the DU Administration Admission website, the students have appealed to read the NTA CUET UG 2025 form, read the qualifications for admission in every course of DU, the number of seats and other guidelines for admission to every course of DU. The university has clarified that only CUET (UG)-The marks obtained in 2025 will be considered for admission in the academic year 2025-26. This time some changes have also been made.

Learn about new changes

The qualification of admission to DU’s Humanities’ program was only one language and three subjects. In the current session, the university has changed it and now the option to choose two language subjects has been given to the students. Apart from this, the qualification in Science subject has been removed with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) or PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology). Efforts have been made to simplify the admission process with these two major changes.

CUET-UG will have to be given in subjects of XII

Candidates should pass class XII examination or its equivalent examination from a recognized board. According to the DU Information Bulletin, it is necessary to give CUET-UG in the subjects that they have studied in class XII or have subjects similar to them for admission to undergraduate courses. Also, this time it is necessary to choose DU in the form for students applying for CUET. If the subject read in XII is not in CUET-UG 2025, then the candidate will have to take this exam with the subject related to that language/domain subject. The allocation and entry will only be based on a combination of language/languages, domain specific subjects and/or general qualification examination (GAT), in which the candidate has appeared in CUET (UG) -2025 as per the concerned program-specific eligibility.

Keep in mind while applying

Candidates have also been advised to check whether they meet all the eligibility criteria for the program in which they are joining CUET (UG) 2025 for admission. If a candidate does not meet any eligibility criteria prescribed to apply in the respective program and appears in the entrance examination, then it will be at its own risk. If it is found at any level that eligibility requirements are not met, then admission, if given, will be automatically canceled.

Registration and seat allocation

All candidates, including candidates under additional quota, are also NTA portal cuet.nta.nic.in But CUET (UG) will have to register for 2025. DU entry portal to candidates for seat allocation admission.uod.ac.in On the Common seat allocation system (CSAS-UG) 2025 will have to be applied.
